PAVEMENT

One of the best rock bands from the 90's and one of my personal favorites. They are doing a reunion tour as we speak. I want to see them really bad but I cannot bring myself to go to Coachella again. Too much bullshit. Matador also put out a "best of" called Quarantine The Past, in light of the reunion. If you don't know em, you should. Pitchfork.com is streaming every music video they ever made right now. Check it out. There are some good ones.

I can't even begin to describe how sick I am of hearing about cochella.

It's a crowded as Fuck 200 degree pingerfest.

Even after it's over there's no relief. For another 11 months all I hear about is an increased dosage in the amount of e pills people are going to put up thier butts the next time around.

thank god. I was beginning to think I was the only one who hates that shit. I went in 2004 when it was only two days. The Cure and Radiohead were the headliners. Pixies reunion. Flaming Lips. Belle & Sebastian. etc. It was a great experience but I would never do it again. Hot as fuck, claustrophobic, and only one drinking fountain. Water bottles cost six bucks. way to much bull shit. Now its three days which means even more bull shit and crappy bands. There are some good ones, but not enough to go through that again.

im going to the pitchfork fest in chicago this summer to see the pave. pitchfork is a cool festival, no complaints. hopefully it wont ever turn into a shit stream like other music fests. and i think its totally rad that pavement is playing pitchfork instead of lollapalooza cause they probably got the offer. pavement is the best.

coachella truly does look like a hell hole (as do most music fests), i still need to go one of these years just to check it off my list, i just hope a naked wizard gets tazed in front of my very eyes when i do go

on a somewhat related note: pavement rules, all these kooks always talking about how they wish they lived in the 60's or 70's, fuck that! I'd kill to be the age I am now about 17ish years ago: bands like pavement, the moz at his peak (in my opinion), unbroken, baggy ass jeans, nirvana, good hip hop, etc, etc

That pic does look like travis. he totally makes that stupid face all the time.

pitchfork fest also has a lot of lame shit going on. pavement and panda bear are the only ones worth it.

snoogins, you speak my language. holy shit, what a good time for rock. Probably the best time period for rap, hands down. the chronic, doggy style, all eyez on me, ready to die, regulate... g funk era, etc. oooowee!
