Watt...On Bass

The other night I had a dream about Mike Watt, it went as follows: Watt, myself, and some friends were trying to get into a wrestling match that was taking place inside of a Costco. We waited in line and right when we got to the front the velvet rope was closed in front of us, sold out. We sat outside and Watt talked to us about how he liked everything to be fast. He said he liked "Fast coffee, fast bass, fast Minutemen, fast waves, fast handshakes." Then he said "Ya know D. Boon was fast, D. Boon once ran a mile in under 2 minutes!" Then I woke up...

D. Boon's birthday is this Wed. (April 1st) so throw on Double Nickels or whatever pleases you and pay your respects...Also, how awesome is this Blue Oyster Cult cover of "Burnin For You" done by Watt: fucking listen to this!

Homemade Thud-Staff (The Boat)

Here is the first of (hopefully) many guitars to come out of the Celic garage. Plenty of carving and grinding, some guts from an old axe, a Watt Sticker and voila!

I don't know why but I thought it screamed Greg Ginn. It looks like shit, but in a really cool way.This was an excellent start but the next one needs a hand crafted neck as well. Smell ya...
