svrf&destroy posse member TJ has a photo included in Surfline's "California Combo Land" Gallery...photo #17. TJ rides for Harbour Surfboards and Versasurf traction, makes films, and was born today.

One time, me, TJ, and douchemcgregor were at a NSSA contest down in Carlsbad...I think...Anyways, Douche and I always first round clowned it. TJ always made it to the finals. So, we would have to wait around all day for TJ to win. Naturally, we would get bored. We always won all this free swag (stuff we all get). This particular day, TJ won a Hurley wallet.

We took said wallet to IHOP. DoucheMcgregor shit in it. We put a dollar in it...

We watched people pick up and inspect a shit filled wallet at Boney's Market.

Good times.

Here is a shot from awhile back that my old roommate Scott threw together. We had some friends that interned at TOMS and we wanted to see what we could come up for them.

We paddled out one overcast, cold, and crappy morning to figure out how to use his water camera. This is what we ended up with.

This never ran as an ad or anything but it was fun little side project...the shoes are cool for kicking it around the house and that's about it. Can't skate in them or anything.

I will stick to my Vans Old Skools, black, size 9.5 as my everyday shoe.

Pro Tec Pool Party 2008

So, we went to the 2008 Pro Tec Pool Party yesterday. MENTAL!

The list of people we saw was endless: Steve Caballero, Lance Mountain, Jeff Grosso, Duane Peters, Steve Steadham, Christian Hosoi, etc. The list goes on.

The only way that I could describe how hard these guys skate this pool is that it's fucked up. Transfers, 540 McTwists, 18' lipslides, Smithgrinds around corners, a broken wrist, dislocated shoulders, 6' indy grabs, etc.

The best was when an 11 year old girl collided with another chick in the bowl and was basically knocked out, to which Dave Duncan commented over the microphone, "That's what happens when you skate with the big girls." FUCKED UP!
